PHOTOGRAPHY:
We specialize in marketing material and commercial products, special and private events, automotive photography and fine art commissions. Thournir Productions photography has been featured in galleries around California and helped establish and promote multiple companies’ social media platforms. We are the preferred vendor at some of the most exclusive event venues in California.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:
We focus on social media marketing, music videos, short and feature-length films, commercial advertising, and much more. Our videos have been featured on AOL, MSN Money, and 13 credit unions nationally. Our music videos have over two million views and have been featured on Hip Hop DX, Suburban Noize, and many other websites and blogs. The short films that Thournir Productions has shot have won awards at the California Independent Film Festival.
About the artist
Tyler Thournir
I was born and raised in Livermore, California by an art teacher mother and an engineer father who always encouraged me to explore my surroundings and experiment with creativity. From them, I learned how to interpret beauty as well as an understanding of machines and technology.
From a young age, I needed a way of preserving all the stories my eyes were witnessing and my mind was conceiving. I was six years old when I first picked up the camera and never looked back. Lenses have been my brush and my canvas for painting the world around me.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design with an emphasis on Media Arts from CSU Chico (2006). Since then, I have traveled to or lived in over 30 countries, exploring and capturing the diverse beauty this world offers.
Working as a professional photographer and cinematographer for a broad range of industries, clients, and locations continues to fulfill a lifelong dream and my artistic vision. I currently live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, surrounded by my family, dogs and gardens.
